Every prediction the world produces arrives as one number. A poll says 60%. A market prices the same event at 61 cents. The number hides more than it shows, because two identical readings can carry opposite futures. Earthlings looks underneath, at the waves of belief the number compresses, and reports the anatomy instead: how solid the consensus is, who holds it, and where it breaks.
