Conception X is the deep-tech venture programme behind Humanloop, built around PhD founders and a network that works alongside researchers at Google DeepMind. It exists for exactly one kind of company: the kind whose product is a research claim that has to survive contact with reality.
What it holds us to
The partnership is a standard, not a badge. Methods that survive review. Claims that survive measurement. A benchmark culture in which every public number — blind scores, CIT-100 — stays on the record whether it flatters us or not.
That is the culture a civilization model has to be built in, because the alternative — a black box asking for trust — is precisely the kind of instrument the lab was founded to replace.
Being wrong in public is the price of being trusted.
Who we are looking for
This is also where we recruit. We are hiring founding research scientists from the small group of people on Earth who have built multi-agent social simulation at frontier labs.
